i took out the honda civic type R for a test drive before buying my GTi, and i must say that all i got was a measely amount of torque out of a car that revs out to 8000rpm!! UGLY too. i had an MPS3 before i got my GTi so i know just how crazy the torque steer is.

Civics are ugly but around a track they are very hard to beat. Very light and handle like a go-kart.

One of my friends just got one.I dont love it but i like it.Revs over 9000 rpm ,is light as hell and rear wheel drive.Not the fastest car, but on a track or the back roads they clean up.To bad they are over priced, burn oil and have lower #s than claimed.Gotta respect the rotary though
