K04 I bought didn't come with a DV

Hello everyone, I bought a k04 online, and it doesn't have a diverter valve as many they come, and I dont see a place on that turbo where I can install that DV, what causes can happen on my gti for running without DV, also I dont have a blow off valve, if it's really bad, can I install a DV on the noise pipe to fix any problem?

dv for original k04 is remote mounted to intercooler pipe before throttle, not on compressor housing like k03. Unless talking about a hybrid F23.

X2 ko4 has no mount like ko3.

A shame someone didn't inform you, if you inquired, that you needed a DV relocate kit to run the K04. If you still have the noise/sound pipe...AWE still has a DV relocate kit. It fits my P-Flo intake and that is a 2.75" pipe. This is it..but ask them if it fits a K04 because I see they now state it is for the K03: https://www.awe-tuning.com/fsi-diverter-valve-kits

Search for "MK5 GTI K04 DV Relocate kit" if you want to find out if there are other options. Just be sure it is for your engine type...FSI or TSI.
