**NGP Racing - now hiring in Maryland - Experienced Sales / Customer service rep**

NGP Racing is currently hiring at the Aberdeen, MD location. This is an advanced position requiring in-depth knowledge of all modern VW / Audi platforms and the performance aftermarket. Knowledge of and experience with engine, suspension, brake, clutch / transmission and wheel / tire upgrades and the ability to guide customers to their best-suited solutions is a must.

Position: Experienced Customer service / sales representative.

Duties: Primary duties will include handling sales calls and technical inquiries via phone, email and walk-in retail customers. This position will handle the majority of our internet presence on various forums, and applicants need to be very well versed with popular VW / Audi online forums and sites, forum etiquette and should ideally have a good reputation among fellow enthusiasts. As with any customer service / sales position the ability to manage customer expectations, requests, complaints and any other situation with respect, timeliness and efficiency for both customer and company are key.

Additionally you will work with vendors and suppliers to checking pricing, availability and more. Depending on experience and core product knowledge some wholesale accounts may assigned to this position, but it is not primarily a wholesale position.

Depending on the situation you will need to work with the service department from time to time, including the scheduling of appointments, writing up / checking in vehicles for service, calling for work authorization and ringing up finalized tickets. This won’t be a primary task, but will be required as needed. Some Saturdays, between 1-3 per month depending, are required.
Additional duties will include various shop tasks as needed, as well as setting up and working the NGP Racing booth at car shows and enthusiast events as needed. Some travel is required at those times.

This can be a physically demanding position depending upon the task at hand and items being handled - some of the larger turbo-back or dual exhaust systems for example weigh well over 80lbs. Applicants must be able to safely lift and move large and heavy packages up to 75lb.

Pay: Competitive non-commission, varies depending upon experience.
