In other news, the car passed its technical inspection (every 2 years in Greece)

and here it is, giving a hand in my main project

Really love how it is starting to take back its old personality from when I had it

I also started working on the engine bay, have some plans in mind

Removed this tired OEM insulation

And cleaned the underbonnet a bit

Not finished yet, I have more on this coming too

Finally I ordered this, so as to install my old racing steering wheel, to find my proper driving position again

Stay tuned.

Cheers

Thank you very much. In the end of the day, it's all about doing something that satisfies, you, and you alone. Not opening threads and discussions, for others to decide what to do to your own car. If others like it too, then even better. But one must do things that he likes primary. At least that is how I see it :)

Yes, I like to mix things up a bit. I think you can tell already, considering I am swapping a Supra 2JZ engine in an Audi RS4 body, cant you ? :)

Received some goodies today for the daily. I dont want to leave it sad and jealous of the Audi.

A new box

had these inside it

Same like on my Audi

The other Audi, was a bit jealous

Nevermind that, its time has not yet arrived, hahaha

Of course lost no time at all . . .

Removed the airbag from its clips/tabs

Then this one - just like old times

I made two wires, soldered and heat-shrink everything of course, half yellow part from dealership and the other half from the MOMO kit, so as to have a working horn button

Ready to install

Done :D

At last, I feel like home again.

Steering Wheel and Airbag are for sale.

Cheers :D

Very rainy day today in Athens, however managed to do some work on the daily.

Some time ago, I had purchased:

-AEM Dry Flow Filter
-034 Motorsport hoses
-Alu pipes and bends
-Clamps,

so pretty much everything I needed to make a new fresh CAI for the daily GT.

Welded

Installed this, for the bracket support

So here it was ready, and installed in place, with the nice supporting bracket

Time to make it match my style and taste

ETCH Primered

Finished in subtle Satin Black

Black Silicone Hose, and clamps in place

And with the help of some DEI, to reflect some heat from the Turbo . . .

Almost ready

Came out clean

Some more things to do in the bay, but going really well for the daily :)

Cheers guys

Hello there.

Thought I'd show you some work done on the instrument clusters of two of my cars.

One is from the MKV Golf, and the other of the Audi. Does not matter, I am sure it can be applied almost everywhere.

So here are some befores to show what we were up against.

Golf first

Pretty nice eh ?

So, lost no time and attacked it with a menzerna pf2500 with a combination of polishing pads on the rotary

50:50 attempt on first pass

getting there

After the correction, SV Autobahn was chosen to finish if off

Applied by hand

Left to cure

Audi cluster time

Before

yiiikes

Masked

And let's attack this one as well

Fun time

Curing time with its friend

Lets see what we did

Hm looks good . . . let's take it out in the sun

And for better comparison:

Before

After

Before

After

Let's see the Audi cluster as well

Before

After

Needless to say I was very happy with the results.

Hope you liked it too.

Cheers guys :)

Everytime I click on this thread I hope there's an update.
Always a treat!
This is the first time I've actually subscribed to a thread in over a year, lol.

If you keep giving positive feedback, you will force me to put the Audi Build thread in here :paddle: :happyanim:

Thank you for your kind words.
