Golf 5 gti Resonator delete or not?

Hi Guys. I drive a golf 5 gti and recently fitted a 76mm downpipe along with a k&n intake. Thought it would sound amazing. Unfortunately didnt make much difference. Im trying a achieve to have my car sound normal (quiet) until I put my foot down then it has to really give some sound. Does anybody know this can be achieved? Should i remove my resonator?
Please help :bow::bow::bow:

Catback is the answer. HKS makes great sound if you can find one.

I have a APR stage 2 running 93 octane... right now have a 3 inch downpipe with high flow cat and a neuspeed r32 exhaust with res and dual 4inch tips... I rarely get any pops and backfire which is my goal. I'm considering going full straight pipe and keeping the high flow cat... would I get any flames shooting out or any gunshot popping noises when I come down on revs??

I already have APR Stage 2, resonator and suitcase delete, as well as cat delete. No flames, no pops, no gunshots, only dsg farts. I also passed inspection in TX.
