Fuel Consumption

Good news & bad news - I just refueled today - omg $65 for like 50 litres, think per litre for BP Optimax at my local fuel station was in the 1.40 ish range.

The good news is that I've noticed an improvement in mileage :thumbsup:. The computer has shown that the car might do 670 km instead of 650. I've just done 1000km after having the GTI for more than a month (been taking it slow & easy). :burnrubber::wub:

well we filled up yesterday at 145.9 for vortex 98 said we could do 650km to empty, we have done 130odd and still said we could do 770km to empty i was like wtf this is great i took a pic and will post it when i can.

our car has done 20000k though. and i love it, the gti is a great car to drive up and down mountains and the DSG makes it even better and more fun and more safe i say as you dont need to take ya hands of the wheel to down shift.
