No... MSRP on a new type-S was around $23,900. That included leather seats, power sunroof, climate control, etc... I've owned 2 RSX's, an '02 and an '03. I was able to get them both for under $23k before tax/license.

LOL your comment came out of nowhere. Have you seen the price? One can get the RSX-S 22-23k OTD easily new. Cheaper than the GTI, and comes with leather.
If the car came with: LSD and cd changer, I would take it over the GTI. The RSX is a good daily driver. You really don't need a lot of torque in city streets and the transmission is even smoother than the GTI imo.
Stock, the 1/4 mile would probably lose by a car length.
I didn't get an Si because I didn't really like the look.
Wow I couldn't possibly disagree more. I sold my RSX-S because I felt like it was undrivable in the city and was not fun at all unless I was mashing the throttle on an onramp or something.
