Clock Spring & VagCom

I'm replacing my clock spring tomorrow. Do I have to reprogram something when I'm finished? A friend with the software has offered to help me, but he said I need to find out what we have to do first.

You will need Vcds or equivalent to preform basic setting based on the ABS system the car has. You should have a M60 system and a scan will confirm. RT has the procedures for the varies systems http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/VW_Golf/Jetta/Bora_(1K/5M)

Thanks for the help (again) GTI's. You've helped me a lot while I've been getting my mk5 gli up to snuff. I'm replacing my front control arm bushings in 3 days. I have the press tool from AutoZone. Any advice for a first-timer?
