You know what's worse than the look of the wheel? How difficult they are to keep clean. The black barrels and the lip behind the spokes are pitas

Yeah, cleaning that weird channel behind the spokes is the worst. Cleaning the Classix on the MKV was much easier.

Did a quick Photoshop to see if going with the Golf R style grille with a red stripe would satisfy me. I really want to debadge the front (to appease my OCD need for symmetry), but keep the VW, and this seems to be the only way. I think I like it. Stock on top, new upper grille on bottom.

Still on a base map, but my plugs were super fouled. Cleaned those up and got it running again. Still waiting on my battery to come in before it's able to work properly though lol.

I'm thinking about boosting the daily (2.slow golf). Ebay has a bunch of cheap cast T3 manifolds but no sub $100 T25. Any ideas on junkyard turbos that have a T3 and are internally gated? trying to research now or just find a cheap 8v t25 manifold

Someone local to me was using a turbo off a TDI iirc. That car is a complete pile of shit though. Has a fire extinguisher as an intake manifold lol

Golf R lower doesn't exist for the GTI as far as I know. They're different shapes and I'm not going to commit to the finances involved to do a complete bumper swap haha.
