Tapped and plugged the oil feed hole for the vacuum pump in the HPFP housing. Since i deleted the vacuum pump, the hole needs plugged or the chain tensioner and N205 will not have enough oil pressure to operate correctly. Used an 8-32 threaded insert

I wanted something a little less permanent. I did loctite it in though and the allen key to install/remove is pretty small and wimpy. I have a couple spares if it wont come out

Just power read through all of this.. So much info, Don't think we'll be going to this extent of clean for the TA racecar, but nice man, very very nice!!

Finished rebuilding the 3.6 VR I have slowly been working on

Also have an 02M to go with it. Pulled it apart to upgrade the forks to steel and install an Mfactory LSD. Found a broken fork that the input shaft kicked around inside the case. Going to repair and clean the case, then assemble with the new parts

Either putting it in a new beetle or sell it to fund a big turbo build for the same beetle

A little late in the season, but finished making a plug and play fuel pump control module relocation harness. Helps relocate the control module to keep it cool. If it overheats, it causes a severe fuel cut. If anyone is interested, let me know and i can whip one up
