My ride is still really the MINI, it kind of replaced our old Mk4 GTI. But this is what my wife traded for the GTI...

This was mine. Had 250kw at the wheels and had a best time down the quarter or 11.9 at 125mph.

Still preferred the GTI to it though.

Before my GTI and R32 was a Mazda SP23 ... Awesome car, much loved. If anything, it was a more involved drive then either of the MK5's - just a great all rounder.

I had a red civic hatch 96/97 model, found out the it had been in a pretty bad accident before i brought it after it got hit by a 4wd - the amount of bog on it convinced me traded to it. Got the Golf trendline. Then i traded the trendline on the GT.

Sold one traded the other to be replaced with the TDI. Very good decision IMHO...

Great car, fit and quality, smooth as, RWD! etc. 335i or R32, I couldn't resist the V6, sound, gusto and $value of the32 when I was supposed to be test-driving a GTi for my wife. So, I'm now a MkV owner who misses the kidneys.
