Xenon photos

Hate to dump this thread but i have a couple questions

1. has anyone noticed if VW is using different temp bulbs in the GTi's?

the reason i ask...while at the dealer lastnight i saw 2 GTi's with their HID's on...both headlights looked different...both cars were red...so color of the car didnt matter

2. Do the GTi's headlights have Halo's?...or catseyes...whatever u want to call them....u know the things that BMW pretty much desgined....while looking at the above cars lastnight it looked like they did

1. the GTI is available with Halogen headlights or with Xenon headlights which don't give the same light. The Xenon headlights are more whiter while the halogen are more yellowish. First pic is from Xenon headlights, second pic of Halogen headlights. Sorry but had no pics of the lights being on.

2. I think you mean angel eyes and no, the GTI doesn't have that

ok well thanx for the info...but both cars had HID's...but both seem to have different color bulds...and yes both cars were brand new..just off the truck..ive actually yet to see a GTi in person without HID's to be honest...i have seen pictures of them on these forums

Ok so no angel eyes....i didnt think so...i guess it was just a reflection

Oh and i have one more question and i promise i wont bother anyone anymore...hehe :biggrin:

the orange turn signal part thats below the DRL's...is that an orange reflector or just an orange bulb?
