This is my gb108a gps board
It hasn't anything in the position pointed with a red square:

This one has two resistors in that position:

Shall I put resistor or jumpers in the position pointed with a red square?

Thanks in advance

help my GPS freez

hi petrutms
i have a NOWADA GPS card N117 V5
the menu is like the 3rd photo in yr 1st post
it has a problem in it:
sadnly it freeze in the booting screen, but some times it works, like 10 times will not work and one time works
but now is dead, just on the booting screen
when i look on the net i found its datasheet but in chine's
i get mange to know every pin what it is
so i remove it and connect it to a computer screen

Note the boot screen ( navigation system)

I think that the system can't complete reading the main frame program from the flash memory
But what I note too that there is a LED blanking at 1 Hz ( the red one in the photo)
Also there was a Calcareous deposits on the PCB, I clean it but with no successes
Now as you say before that you are work in the NOWADA company, can you help me in any way
Sorry for making this post long
Here is also some photo of my board

GPS problems with MT6501

Hi,

Not sure if I'm on the right thread but here goes anyway. I'm having problems with my unit receiving a GPS signal. At first I thought it was just the antenna so I bought a new one. I ran the autodetect option in the IGO program but after scanning for the antenna, it says that no antenna is connected. I have checked the connector on the back of the unit and it has got 3v so is giving power to the antenna. Could it be the GPS card is fried?

Thanks.
