@sirikit, in the readme is link for dynavin firmware ( if you have wince 5 ). For wince 6 there is no english firmware.

I got the new Dynavin E46 v5. Does this run wince 6?
If so can I run the patch while is still in chinese mode? Any impact that can occure?

I updated my unit with your flash. It went ok, setting gps path to desktop works and the link there to old interface works also. but I have some problems:
1. Dvd button is still associated with the old dvd player or old mp3 player and if you insert Cd it autoruns the old players. Is it suppused to be so?
2. My tomtom works nomore on my sd card (deaktivated maps). I tried reinstall, but the same problem. I found that some files in tomtom folder where currupted somhow after installing the hack, (tomtom maps *.pna file is rubbish instead of text inside). I'll fix that maybe.
3. I couldn't continue my work on the unit, because the error message on my touran car "AIRBAG FAULT" for unknown reason suddenly began to flash and the car dvd starts and goes off continously, and car cannot be started, strange !!

1. my patch will affect only gps side, no radio, dvd, tv interface will be modified. The new players can be used from wince with music and videos, and can read only files from gps sd card.
2.never had the problem and you are the first with this issue, try to make a clean install ( after sd format ) of wincepatch then of tomtom
3.that is 100% not wince related, your unit have problems... disconnect power, wait 1h and connect again.
