Widest front tire?

What would be the widest w/o going outside the wheel well, say a 245 tire?

the widest front tire I've seen was 235/35 R19 on a 9" wide rim

I saw 10.5 posted at the tex... the general consensus was "not a good idea"

the fender was eating up the tread after only a few miles.
