which fuse locations for wiring boost gauge?

I installed my nifty podi boost gauge using these helpful directions but I couldn't get any power :thumbdown:. I have two questions:

question 1: does anyone have a diagram of the fuse box so i can see which locations would be good?

question 2: can i just push the add-a-circuit into the fuse box or do i need to unlock it as if i were adding a circuit to the back of the box?

i'm installing this on a 2009 4 door GTI with TSI engine.

Why don't u just hook it up to the orginal headlight switch for power? It's the SOLID gray wire, then hook ground to a non-painted surface..

i wanted to keep it neat and use the fuse box

I could understand that, but just use wire connectors and not just elec. tape
