I'm looking at filling the holes with a new wider 18's package...

Current:
Factory 18 Huff setup is what I have now + 10/12mm spacers.
H&R Sport drop (may go Super sport) - no lower than that though.

Interested in:
18x8 or 18x8.5 in the FRONT
18x9 in the REAR

What is the max width I could go in our wells (on my conservative, maybe mild-aggressive future drop) without having to pull fenders, or stretch tires?

How much farther inwards could a wheel go (past a stock 18x7.5 et51) before you started interfering with suspension components or inner liner?

235/40/r18 et45 or 225/40/r18 et 45 -> 18x9 -> my initial thoughts on rear

18x8.5 +40~. Would not go below this if you don't wnat to stretch.

I'm defining a 225/40/18 on an 18x8.5 as No stretch.

18x9 +45/50 would work with a 225/40/18.

Honestly, I'd just go with a square setup. The difference between 8.5/9 is just odd to me.

8.5 +40/+45 all around would be fine,

Or, if you can find 18x9 +45 all around, that would work too with a 225/40/18.

Would 18x9 in the front restrict turning at all?

My old Eclipse had 18x9, and you couldn't crank the wheel as far (maybe 75%) when doing tight parking turns.

I'm all ears if you have some other online shops.

I've always wanted VMRs (710's or 701's are my favorites) - 18x9.5's would be fun, but a pain I'm sure. Wish they did 9's.

I'm not set on them, but that's kind of the styling I like. And preference would always go to something concave or with lip. I don't really want another wheel with that flat table top design that the Huffs have.
