what is the best tire for our cars

I have had my gti for one year, and have about 25,000 miles on it. I know that it is time for me to get new tires. I am going to buy new rims as well since im getting new tires. My question is what is the best all year round tire that i can get for my car. Im looking to get the asa ar1 so the tire will match that

We've been running such a thread on Tyresmoke.net in the UK - Goodyear Eagle F1s are by far the most highly rated tyre for the Mk5 GTI over here. Bridgestones second.

no dont go with eagle f1's or any kind of eagle. U will need new tires in 10,000 miles. terrible wear and to much money. Get the potezna's or pzero nero arent to bad.

I've worn out one set of each of Continentals and Potenzas in 30,000 miles.

id be thrilled if my tires lasted 30k. thats pretty good for "performance" tires.
