Been driving golf 5 DGS and now its flashing PRDN1 lights and wont engage to 2 gear. Its stuck on 1st gear. I have to switch if OFF to engage to Reverse. Can anyone assist please

Get an appropriate scan tool on the VW and pull the dtc and see what it shows you.

Typically a mechatronics issue, but I've seen where it doesn't come back. Have you tried changing the fluid?
