The standard Mazda 6 is a bit on the grandma side. The Mazda Speed 6 is a great ride with the exception of the light tincan feel of the doors and the plastic craptastic interior.

I have a friend with a 6 and the only way he'd beat my gti (stock) is with a ton of $$$ into mods. We tried racing once and I destroyed him. And he's a way better driver than me. So you'd kill a 6 with intake and exhaust.:thumbsup:

6's aren't that slow. I had one as a loaner and it was reasonably quick, esp. in first gear. I/E should give it a few more ponies.

if it was a manual a stock v6 mazda 6 will run 14.7's so it should be a decent race.. you will beat him if hes automatic tho.

Im pretty sure the GTI will pwn the Mazda 6. My frined has one with the auto tranny and it slower then grass grows
