well if they are going to start manufacturing the Golf/GTI here, then hopefully the price comes down, and we see a more competitive platform/performance base in this one. The 2.0t is alright, but with them still throwing the k03 on these engines from factory, you can't hope to pull the performance guys off of the STIs to get in on the GTI. Interior or not.

They kept the Dual Exhaust on the GTI, wonder if it'll make production?

Manufacturer's normally start bringing mules out in public about a Model Year and a half out. So 2014 or 2015 for the Mk7?

2010-2014, sounds about right, MkVs were only '06-'09.
