Would've been a good day to pull a sickie. The roads were great (not at all greasy considering the weather on the leadup to our "cruise") , the pace was relaxed and the crew got on really well. We even nearly recruited a new member in Marysville!

MelbV........Can I ask where abouts the 3rd pic was taken? I've been down to Marysville a million times but can't remember the large concrete area? It ain't the Maroondah Dam is it?

After lunch in Marysville we "ambushed" a GTI owner in the main drag.

Was a little shocked at first with a group of "randoms" approaching while he's parked and all. But he was pretty cool with it. Said he'd had a quick look through the forum but nothing serious, got the impression he was going to sign up though.

He gave us a toot and a wave when he passed us in Healesville.:thumbsup:

Nah, the only R was Paul in his clean as MkIV. (Yep, lurve that car Paul)
