Spotted a TR GTI heading east down Tropicana around 5:40pm-ish. Had somewhat tinted tails and 2 big stickers on the rear window. I wasnt in my car.

Spotted a UG GTI on the 15 near downtown, heading south around midnight. rear lower valance was smoothed and painted...all i could see.

Spotted a UG Rabbit on coils and had some stickers on the left of the rear window around 11:30am going west down St. Rose. He passed me while I was turning onto Spencer.

Been spotting a lot of mk6 gti's lately...saw a white one last Thursday on pebble and eastern, threw up the deuces to me.
Then a black(?) mk6 with smoked tails passed me on eastern and coranado center road today around 11:45am.
Also spotted a white mkv gli, lowered, wheels on charleston and rancho at 3:45pm today.

A bmp gti with an r32 rear and smoked tails passed by me on pebble & eastern right before 7pm today. spotted this car a few days ago too further down pebble right before bermuda.:thumbsup:

^ when i use to live by sliverado and bermuda I saw him a lot I think he use to go to SCE meet where I first saw his car
There is a black GTI or Golf that just started parking across from my development in front of someones house around warm spring and druango. Looks like its got heavy tint on windows, lowered with wheels and smoke tails. I only see the rear end as i drive by it but its been there about 2 weeks now.

Just got here from Germany, just read the first few pages of this post... was wondering if the scene got better? Just bought my GTI at desert the week I got here... Guess I miss Germany a lot huh? So any hang outs and such? Not new to German cars, just new to owning one, lol. Actually looking for a quick ECU stage 1 upgrade. Know anybody reliable who does one here?? I'm looking at Unitronic. The car I have is completely stock... looking to upgrade a little bit here and there.

i think the vw scene is kinda dead in vegas. its kinda hard to get ppl to come to the meets when everybody works different times. but there is "sofa king euros" in this forum ...
unitronic left vegas a while ago. but we do have apr and giac in the same shop. and i think we finally got revo ...

Uni is still there, Jeff, who ran black sheep is the dealer, just he does it out of the shop he works at now.
As for the scene, there is SKE and Sin City Euros.
I've called them and email them a thousand times and they've never replied ... And I know somebody told me they left ... Plus I remember going to the unitronics website to check local dealers. And I couldnt find one in Vegas ...
I have some buddy's with bimmers that used to go to the sin city euros meets, and they said it pretty much dead ...

I don't get it. I see so many modded euros around town but I've never seen them at a meet. Are these people just really anti-social or too busy that they can never show up? I do realize during certain parts of the year, its either too hot or too cold and people don't wanna go out but wtf!! We need to get more people to come out to the meets. What if we plan a BBQ before it gets too cold out? i know people like food....
