VAG-COM near Los Angeles - DRL hookup?

Hey guys.

My left front HID went out on my 08 GTI.

Looking at the 4300k or 5000k to replace - once I get a chance to get under the hood. These any good?

So anybody around Santa Monica - can hook up quick turning off my DRLs? Happy to come to you as well. Looking to stop looking lame and also save my bulb life and from me getting pulled over not for speeding. :smile:

go on amazon, you can the proper Phillips bulbs or a slyvania for around $35 per bulb, I know expensive but worth it. If you can afford it, it's well worth it to invest in a Ross tech cable, that way you can turn off the day time running lights. i'm in orange county if you want to drive that far, I can turn them off for you.
