Its not really a vs but I have a good channel on youtube of my vw. I did some hillclimb events in it and placed 1st over all, Its just a local event but I had a faster overall time than a c5 z06, 3 Evos, 4 sti's, a lotus elise, tons of hondas, 2 mkIII supras, and a mk4 gti. Not bad for stage 2+ with w/m. I corner ballanced my car and stripped the interior. I won $50 so pretty fun over all. We did an uphill and a downhill portion. Downhill was first and I only was able to get 2 clips of that but on the uphill I had a camera mount that I ziptied together. Mabye this will influence people to do more than race in a staight line, which I do allot of too. Ill post the hillclimb videos and I encourage you to look at all of my videos and leave comments. And its organized but not necessarily legal haha. Not much in the way of law enforcement here in Idaho.

I see your in NC, when I was in the army I was stationed there and used to drive the Tail of the dragon but there are to many cops around that area to get a good run in, to many bikes as well.

impressive! but going around saying you posted better times than those cars doesn't mean much, saying u posted better times than the drivers of those cars is more accurate and better...

That looks like a blast. Good job beating the more powerful cars. I could tell you were really pushing it to the max. That's fantastic that you took 1st place overall. How did you compare uphill vs downhill? I'd be very surprised if you were beating the more powerful cars on the uphill, I'd have to just say they are terrible drivers if that was the case hehe.

The setup looks pretty good, especially I could see that LSD working. But you're losing time with that swaybar setup. I can see you are getting a sharp turn-in and very little body roll. But after the initial turn-in you're understeering too much. The balance has too much front bias. You need to loosen the front and tighten the rear, or just tighten the rear.
The only problem with that is you are going to get even worse rubbing and I can already hear it in the video. So you need to address that first, then you can work on the car's balance.

Amazing that you won even without really using the full width of the road - cool!

Awesome! Good videos and good driving. I'm seriously jealous, we don't really have much for mountains around here in MN...

Was this actually a sanctioned event or just running up a road?
