Turbocharger underboost p0299

I've had this code pop up, the mechanic checked the turbo and said its fine. I'm bad at remembering but something about the pin being okay. Is it possible that it isn't an issue but just a warning?

Any difference in performance or any new exhaust sounds going on? Could be wastegate.

No new sounds, but this engine light has been on and off since 2017 when i bought the car. Its an 08 gti but the mechanic said it has a TSI engine but the cover says FSI...im really confused right now. Its an 08 GTI pulling codes: p2099, p0234 and p0236. Im googling on this forum now and this is what the mechanic sent to me...but i found that FSI engine has BPY not CCTA...so Im kinda confused

Are you tuned or modified? That TSB related to the wastegate has a temporary fix but ultimately most need to replace the wastegate or the turbo itself.

Its completely stock, i havent changed anything on it

Where is the oil filter on this enigne, '08 MY had both the FSI and TSI installed during this MY.
