Transmission gear oil reccomendation

Been running Motul Gear 300 since my LSD install and shifting is buttery smooth EXCEPT for the first 1-2 shift when the temperature is below 40F is not good at all, its a little crunchy until it warms up.

Should I go with OEM or is there a good blend that works?

I went with OEM which is good but overpriced. Then Redline MT-90 seems to be good too

I would go with the LSD manufacturer recommendation. For my Wavetrac they recommend Motul 300 (which I use) or OEM (expensive and noisier with a SMF).

Also it seems that the OEM is in fact Fuchs transmission fluid (don't remember which one, you have to look for the one compatible with the reference number of the OEM fluid). It costs 1/3 of the price

I just put Motul Gear 300 into mine and I am so happy with it.
Could be because it doesn't get too cold here.

I noticed the same with gear 300. It's a bit rough when it's cold. Oem is definitely smoother

Febi 75W GL-4. cheap but no difference from the OE fluid.
