good question. you'll hear about a million different answers.
supposedly House music originated in Chicago in a nightclub called The Warehouse.
then people would ask the DJ's to play music like in The Warehouse... or House Music.
i always thought of it as how nightclubs have DJ residencies who open up for the big visiting talent. normally their sets consist of House music to warm up the place as in "music of the house" like restaurants would have a "house salad"
potentially a repost. im a huge dubstep, drum and bass guy and I came across this video. pretty great camera work too of all those slammed VWs too. Looks a little older, some mkV and mkIV didnt see a VI.
I also dont know how to embed video so, sorry for the link. unless someone can help me out.

Hmmm a huge leap from the stuff he's been doing lately, and in all honesty I wouldn't be surprised if there was a ghost producer behind this track. It's just a drastic change of music compared to all that other shit he's been making.
He recently got signed and has been doing a lot of work with Big Boi and the Autotune the news guys...we're all really happy for him and I love his big boi/ black keys mashup album.
I like all those songs George posted for the exception of ghost and stuff(way to cheesy and lame imo) , the calvin harris im not alone remix was basically the only song I listened too when it came out.
