Agreed, many of them are.

I witnessed a prime example about two years ago. A well-known Hollywood couple arrived in their privately-owned Cessna Sovereign jet from New York. The plane can seat up to nine passengers, but it was just the crew and the two passengers. No luggage. They got off the plane and into a black Prius and drove off.

Anyone who spotted them in traffic minutes later would see two wealthy, famous individuals driving a low-key, inexpensive car. In reality they burned thousands of pounds of fuel (probably more than the Prius will burn in its lifetime) to travel between two cities between which there are dozens of flights every day.

It's all about image. :thumbdown:
