In all seriousness, till this very day, our national anthem still gets me a little teary eyed. For me, it means more than just our national anthem. It represents those brothers I've lost in battle, as they made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

This reminded me of my neighbor when I was growing up. He took me fishing a lot, finally passed a few years ago. He was in the Navy, and was on the USS Heerman DD532 during the battle of Samar. His memoirs detail some of the events, he talks about being on deck and seeing shells from the Yamato fly over head, as well as torpedoes going beneath. He didn't take it lightly if you didn't remove your hat and put your hand on your chest.

This "take a knee" disrespect must stop. Professional athletic traitors can all leave our shores. It turns my stomach. Any "sports fan" that patronizes these a-holes need's a check-up from the neck-up.
