Just curious. How do you know the person coughing on her was a positive covid case? Wait.. if 10 out of 11 don't develop symptoms, does that mean they can spread it asymptomatically?

The lady was tested and hospitalized. My wife was also tested. This was a couple weeks ago.

So how is it we have this age old medical field, with 'specialists' and no one understands a god damned thing about this virus? It's not that unique.

It's almost like we're still learning and understanding, and that everything needs to be taken with a grain of salt until it's finalized. Which is why they have us take PRECAUTIONS - In the event things are much worse that we think, we've taken steps to ensure we don't have the worst possible outcome. If the dust settles and on November 5th we're magically not wearing masks again, you took a precaution that did more good than harm when weighed against the risks..

Why is the scientific processes so difficult for people to follow? We're not asking you to decipher their lab results, just understand that science takes time and there will always be back and forth because different studies use different methods and result thresholds.

To be scammed, they must have taken something I value from me. I've been able to work from home, catch up on my sleep and be less stressed. Maybe you personally were scammed, I don't mind lockdown one bit.

You'd be surprised how many people don't understand that though. I mean.. there are people out there who continue to drive when the idiot oil light goes off on their car and seize the engine.

Very true. Which is why science has a peer review portion, you must present your work, findings, and method to be reviewed by others in the field. Which is why getting set facts from studies takes time and so many things are unfolding right now. Screaming that there is conflict must mean we're being lied to is just ignorant of the entire scientific process.

Lol. Western science is all about who pays more. If science were about science, scientists wouldn't be chasing after high Hirsch index values.
