Early on, there wasn't enough information to know if everyone wearing a mask would help and they were afraid people running out to buy masks would cause shortages for hospitals. (See TP and Gas shortages).

As researched showed a benefit, and the supply of masks ramped up, they changed their guidance.

That isn't Fauci not being able to make up his mind. Like I said, you just aren't smart enough to understand how science works and the nuances of what you hear. You seem to ignore actual legitimate information and explanations so you can stay on team Zrickety, because you like him.

most laboratories and providers are typically testing for anti-nucleocapsid antibodies. The problem with that is those are not antibodies that would be created by the vaccine, but only through natural infection." So in other words, many of the antibody tests available now would only be able to tell you whether you have antibodies as a result of getting COVID, and not from having received a vaccine.

At this point, there was no reason to test for "did you get the vaccine" as the only question was "did you have COVID"

My house was built in 1963. I wanted to test for asbestos, so I bought a lead paint test kit. It came back saying 0, so I guess that means there's no asbestos in my house.

For those that don't want to read the whole article - the vaccine targets the spike protein, meaning it develops different antibodies than if you were infected, so if you test for the wrong antibodies, the test doesn't tell you anything.
