Jim died yesterday of end stage COPD that he'd been battling for many years.

I remember that exchange. Jim was a good guy. Whether he understood the jokes or not, entertainment usually ensued, and he always maintained a level of respect and decorum (for others, and from others) that's rare around these parts.

Sorry to see him go...

Too soon? I've never said a bad word about Jim, quite the opposite. Nothing but respect.
He is very sadly a statistic and casualty of the pandemic, like so many others I've read about.
With what we know now, heads like Fauci sold us lies and should be held accountable.
