Left the house for the first time in 10 days yesterday to get groceries. I'd say 75% of people where wearing some sort of mask and gloves, even the employees. 3 weeks ago I was the only one in a mask.

Sat in the cul-de-sac on my street for 10 minutes to get oil temperature so I could rip on wifeys car on the empty roads. It was nice to enjoy my coffee and listen to the radio for 10 miuntes without hearing "daddy"

They’ve been allowing only seniors into the grocery stores for the first hour (7am to 8am typically). I’ve been going once per week, right at 8am. Best chance of stock and smallest number other customers. This is literally the only thing I have left home for in the past few weeks. I think I will go on a solo drive today.

Plexi-glass has been installed between the cashiers and the customers. They’re not accepting reusable shopping bags for now. 2m apart lines on the floors to show people where to line up. Regular sanitizing etc. They’re doing their best.

Shelves were nearly back to normal aside from tp (still). Meat, dairy, eggs, canned soup still less stock than usual. 2 weeks ago there were none of these items in stock.

I've read of a few pastors actually getting arrested for ignoring stay-at-home directives by continuing to hold services. Good. While we're at it, start taxing the church. But that's another thread, I guess.

I used to work closely with some Bentley techs. They'd tell me who some of these cars belonged to that were brand new and had 10k wheels and out of state plates. I guess they didn't have a local dealer or maybe didn't want the locals to know what they were really driving......... lol

Weird. iPhone and ancient windows laptop with ad blocker on Firefox. I get nothing.
