first run was from a 40k roll we were even for a good 40 seconds then he all of a sudden took off an i couldn't keep up with him.

then we decided to line em up again from a stop...... i dropped it in to sport mode esp off hit the gas an didn't let go i was ahead by about a car length all of a sudden he started catching up to me an then i let off the gas ....pretty cool race glad my gli could keep up to it i can just imagine when i go stage 1.

Basically, they are saying there is no way for you to be able to keep up with him for 40 seconds, or from a dig. Golf R stock is what 265 HP w/K04 and AWD. Stock GLI 2.0T is FWD and 200 HP. Basically, he should smoke you.
