spark plugs / coil pack question

could bad plugs, and or coilpacks be causing low boost?

don't know, I just changed my plugs today (easy peasy) and they were kinda burnt looking - my friend seems to think it is because "my car was running lean"... not enough fuel.

The more I hear about my car from my friend, the less I think he knows. I have NEVER heard of an MKV running anything but rich/poorly. could too far timing advance (Revo) cause excessive crap on the plugs?

I can't believe that BSH some other respectable brand has not found an anti-gremlin kit - whether it's a clip on tablet or a spray, I will buy 2!

yeah, funny you mention the boost, thing, I could swear I could hear it spool more/louder after changing the plugs, but I doubt it.
