Quick Question (MkIV content)

ok so the question is...

did the MkIV's come with an LSD?

my MkV is my first VW so i dont really know a whole lot about past Vdub's

I'm going to go out on a thin limb and say no. I don't know for sure though. I don't believe my friends 2001 had it. Then again the hp and torque on that thing were at about 150. So not needed as much. If ever they needed it it would have been with the MKV, so therefore I doubt they did it then. Because if they would have seen a need for it in a previous generation then they should have definitely seen a need in it for this one. What ya think?

I agree with you, Kirk180. If the MK4's came with LSD, the MK5 GTI definitely would have got LSD. So I don't think that the MK4 Golfs came with LSD.

MKIV'S didn't have dsg either - either auto or stick. thats it. nothing special
