First off hi. Brand new to the site and excited to be here.

So heres my issue.

Got an apr stage 1 tune today.
Already had an intake and bsh pcv revamp.

Drove it for a while and now shot a turbo underboost code.

Research shows it is probably the dv.

But none has had this ussue right after the ecu upgrade.

Should i stick to the dv for now and kove from there?

Congrats on the stage 1 tune, hopefully its a simple DV and you can get back to enjoying it! Marginal parts will go when pushed harder. DV is likely, boost leak might be an issue too.

It really cant hurt to get a rev D diverter valve, the rubber gasket one will eventually go.

Well what could cause the boost leak?

Also a bit ago i was having an issue where turbo boost would bounce (hunt) pressure when flooring it.

Got the car reflashed and no longer saw the issue. The shop (reputable) said that it could be a wastegate issue. I kinda brushed it off though cuz i thought this version doesnt have a removable wastegate.

Not sure if that changes anything

Anything, loose connections, those o-rings on the FMIC connection.

Might see if the shop will have a look.

Im taking my truck to work tomorrow for an oil change and dipstick tube replace (rusted through).

On thursday ill take a look at all of those connections and what not.

I went ahead and ordered the rev D Dv just to go ahead and have it done anyway.

Thanks for the help and feedback. Most threads show resolution with just the DV so lets hope.

I will say that before the tune i was at like 11psi and after i was at like 14psi. But i have read that the stock psi should be around 14 already. Idk but ill deff keep you all posted.

Thanks again.

I would go with checking the DV and all of the seals along the boost plumbing...because you likely have old seals that were on the verge of going anyhow, and the extra boost just pushed it over the edge. The DV is one thing...but the seals are just o-rings inside the connectors.

So i bought a rev D Dv. Replaced it but come to find out i already had a rev D one. Drove it around. Still only getting between 12-14 psi

When in there i saw some oil? Around and on the black flex hose that comes out the end of the turbo assembly closest to the passenger wheel well.
Other than that i dont see any issues.

On another note i guess i have a dv for sale. Haha

Factory PSI is like 10 max. Anything above that is tuned. But as for your boost leak take a spray bottle with soapy water and spray around your lines to see if you can find the leak that way.
