About time we had few different threads, I'm a music aficionado and like finding new tunes of varying genres.

I've been getting into a few good things lately and want to share the love so to speak:

Psy Chill:
- OTT
- Bluetech
- Hallucinogen - In Dub

Psy Trance:
- Infected Mushroom - Converting vegetarian & Classic Mushroom

psychedelic rock:
- MGMT - Oracular Spectacular
- Cut Copy - In Ghost Colours
- Flaming Lips - Embryonic (Quite brilliant)

Jazz:
- Herbie Hancock - The New Stanard, Possibilities & River: The Joni Letters
- Chris Poulsen Trio - Common Senses.
- Rickie Lee Jones

Rock:
- Pink Floyd - Dark Side of The Moon.
- Wolfmother

Alternative Rock:
- Sleepy Jackson - Personality: One Was A Spider One Was A Bird
- The Killers

Just a start.. keen to hear from everyone else.

I've put 3.5gb of ambient music in my car from Brian eno to aphex twin.
A bit boring at times but it is keeping me calm / letting me think clearly.

Deep breath in, deep breath out. Get cut off, flip the bird with a smile.

GTI_SS, I think our music libraries would have a lot of overlap!
I haven't listened to ride in a long time.

Aphex Twin 'Cliffs' is an old fave.

Eno's 'An Ending (Ascent)' is great too. Top Gear used it and it popped up in one of James May's doco about the moon recently.

What would come of your driving style if 'Come To Daddy' slipped into the mix?

. Always good to go back when there's nothing new. 'Leave Them All Behind' is awesome when loud.

Come to daddy is the sort of stuff that is usually on in the car!
Has my pupils dilating and blood pressure rising!

Pendulum is pretty fun, i like 'Hold Your Colour', but both albums are pretty bad arse.

Some good Drum'n'Bass I like is also LTJ Bukem, more of a glacial sound but still smooth, 'Logical Progression Level 1' is pretty smooth, fair amount of MC over the top but doesn't wreck it. Producer 01 is really chilled out an nice.

Other D'n'B I've come across:

- Techincal Itch presents You need Therapy
- http://djhidden.com/ <- listen to the high quality samples on the site.
- Breakbeat Kaos / Adam F & DJ Fresh

I've got a few nasty dubs & breaks cds as well if anyone is keen.

LTJ had some great stuff back in the day. He started to lose me with his Earth series though. The Logical Progression stuff was good. Glacial is a good way to describe it. My exgf was from the UK and was mental about DnB. Kinda rubbed off. Must admit, I've tried the odd nasty DnB track since the sub was installed. Windows up though.

Yeah mate, i think some of the best stuff was in progression sessions volumes & mixmag. Gets pretty chilled after that.

I got In Silico on now, pretty good in the car too .

Moving Shadow was a great label too. Harder stuff, but it just rolled.

LOL. Just dug up a small section of a DnB track I started writing (and never finished) back in 2000. Completely sequenced on a Kurzweil K2500 (basically via a 130mm x 40mm blue LCD display) and Roland JP-8080.

Crimson (incomplete)

Sounds pretty good m8, wouldn't have guessed it was not a professional mix.

Don't know if you like Dub but this is in between dub/d'n'b:
