What kind as in what kind, not viscosity.. He uses 8100, but can do Liqui-Moly for the same price. Stuff is better for our cars anyway IMO

Motul 8100 has been perfect for my car for the last 50-60k kms

It's good oil no doubt, but after a few different brands I've found that liqui-moly is best.. You should try it sometime

liqui moly is very good. motul 8100 is not bad, 300V is great but burns after 3000 km .. burns a lot ..

I do my own and a Mann filter with 5w40 AMSOIL for $40!

AMSOIL... the best there is! Less burn off than the other crap. My car has 75K and I add a pint every 2-4K depending how I drive.

For USA people. FACT: NAPA once a year has a managers special. All NAPA GOLD (MANN equivalent) is %50 OFF! Comes with rubber ring seal too.

i have use both 8100 and specific from motul, i believe specific is better in terms of fighter oil consumption.

currently on Lubro Moly, seems even better on controlling oil consumption

+1 for 5w40 lubromoly, and +1 for iGarage. I went there a couple hours ago to have them pick out all the ice that was frozen on my subframe/axle. I have done it twice myself and couldn't be bothered to do it a third time. They did it for $20, and they even topped my oil off for me! Added close to a quart
