Hi,
I recently had my ac compressor and pressure switch replaced on my 2008 gti. It had been blowing hot air.
After replacement, the ac now functions and blows cold air.
The issue that I have is that when I turn the ac fan control from position 0 to position 1, there is a slight fluttering noise that goes away after a few seconds. The noise also is present when I press the “ac” button from off to on.
You can hear sound when I turn the ac on or press the ac button to turn on.
I would appreciate any input. The shop says it’s normal. If it’s not a major issue, then I’m ok with it.
The noise didn’t exist prior to the compressor being replaced.
