Shitty gas mileage, less power, higher food prices, government subsidies, incompatibility with some fuel systems and resulting damage...

Rubber and alcohol don't play well together. A lot of seals in your fueling system will prematurely fail because of this fact. Older cars are more prone to the issues that is caused by E fuel additives.

This list is heaven sent as far as I'm concerned.

Hilarious enough, I was actually at Mazda Raceway last December for the Skip Barber School of Racing. Unbeknownst to me, I had actually taken a photo of that particular gas pump lol.

Damn I should have grabbed a few gallons while I was there!! :mad0259:

I thought it was illegal to sell non-oxygenated fuel these days; you have to use some sort of additive, either ethanol or MBTA or whatever.

I'm no fan of ethanol, but I like MBTA even less.

From a report re: a nearby station:
The Shell 93 V-Power gasolene sold by this Shell Super Mart contains 5% alcohol according to a fueltester.com test I performed today.
I thought the ethanol levels were adjusted seasonally.

Seems hokey to me..
