But they are a little slower and dont have the same tools and arnt as smart.

Do you go teach them the correct ways, or watch them and laugh as they do everything?

Hah, that's great! They can imitate all they want, but they'll never have the community and knowledge base we have here.

Looks like they have a decent size community on there (although, most are "guests"). That site is a mess, though. It couldn't stay on for longer than 5 minutes. GolfMkV >*

Here's the problem....

.... anyone with $50 and a basic understanding of computers can setup their own internet forum.

That doesn't necessarily mean that they should, however.

There are only so many different types of forum formats available, so there are bound to be similar looking sites. Basically, it boils down to content, atmosphere, and monitoring.

A friendly atmosphere will draw people in and keep them coming back.

A variety of worthy content keeps everyone busy.

And some oversight goes a long way to keep things running smoothly.

Not every forum meets all of these criteria, thusly, they'll fall by the wayside in due time and nobody will miss them.

It speaks volumes that this forum continues to grow and we're happy to be along for the ride.
