My b5 passat beepa 5 times after taking out the key

Hello guys, i am having a problem with my 98 b5 passat. When you turn off the ignition and take out the key it beeps 5 times, it dosent mater if the engine was runing or you just switched the ignition on and off it still beeps after taking the key out. It has ben doing it ever since i got it, didint care mutch, but now my cars inspection is nearing to its end and i realy need to fix it. Anny ideas ?
