Multiple faults

So yesterday I got a check engine light, when I scanned my car I got 5 different faults, they all seem to be in different areas of the car, so I'm reluctant to believe them all, any ideas ?

I found the fault, one of the wires on the camshaft position sensor was frayed.

That's good. Did fixing the one wire clear all 5 codes?

Its a Golf Mk5 R32, still has the same issues, when i pull out the camshaft position sensor the faults go away, I've fixed the wires going into the position sensor that I can see, not good as I'm trying to sell the car.

Seem its needs new Cps, did you pull the wiring diagrams for the R and see what they have in common?

No, it's just sitting on the drive with the same faults. I'm driving my GTE for now. When I've some cash, I'm going to look for an electrician and see if they can sort it out.
