I'm not sure if it's been posted yet, but here it is, Motortrends first test of the MK7 GTI.

I don't think it's even going to be close in a comparison test with other cars in its class. I have always said that I was going to drive my K04'ed MKV until it dies, but this is making me really antsy. Black 6spd manual with PP, yes please.

Tbh the front end on the 7 looks bad imo , but the overall look is wonderful. I already decided if i ever get rid of my mkv I'm getting a mkvi R or a B6 s4..but then again who knows

1.the dsg is probably slower due to driver
2. I personally would want the manual
3. It would look good in reflex silver or UG
