Very nice. What software? Would like to see the boost curve as you are holding power very well up top.
i wrote the software, it is from my shop/company. the dyno is also at my facility. the car is a customer car.
the boost curve is mostly flat. 20psi leaves much more room on the table so to speak.
Nice job. 20psi definitely leaves room down low but also removes that nasty TQ spike. Don't need 350 ft/lbs at 2500 anyways on FWD.
You have my attention. Can you talk about the benefits of the GTI HPFP conversion some more? Are you going to be selling kits/tunes?
Make some harness extensions and sell it along with the tune? I'll bet people would pay not to cut their OEM harness.the car gained ~18whp from changing to the gti pump from the factory 1.8t pump.
the software MUST be written for the gti pump or it will cause issues.
no kit needed really. buy used gti parts, bolt them on. thats all it takes for the hardware. you must also extend the harness as the VCV plug faces the opposite direction.

How do tunes work for people who are not local to you?
Was this dyno done on an auto or manual 1.8?
Nice results! Where in NC are you located?
