I have an 07 Edition 30 and the boot light (sorry, trunk light) has never worked since I bought the car. The MFD is showing the boot open, so I don't think the latch switch is faulty? I've changed the bulb and checked for a loose diode. All good.
Are there any wiring diagrams I can refer to?
I also got an error in the both door electronics in VCDS. "Outside light defective circuit", or something along those lines. So I check into that only to discover the previous owner had removed the bulb holders. Are these known for causing problems? I can't see why anyone would deliberately remove the door lights!
