Miltek Gti exhaust on the 2.5

Hey guys, first post here, hopefully its a good one.
I just picked up a used but good condition 2.75" miltek gti mk6 catback from a buddy for only 1 bill as he traded his car. So question is, will this thing fit on my 2.5? I can get a new valance np but im wondering how to attach this thing to the original exhaust. Any thoughts? I mean it "should" fit a stock gti so any reason it wouldnt fit my 2.5? Thanks, appreciate the help.

It'll fit, the hangers are in the same spot. They'll just cut yours off and weld it on, shouldn't be a problem. I have a stock GTI exhaust on my car.

The GTI catback is shorter than the Golf catback, i think about 18 inches shorter. So if you remove the Golf catback, the GTI catback will physically mount up to all the hangers, and you just need to have an exhaust shop weld-on or otherwise mount a 18 inch section.
