JB4 Logging, stacking and Map 6 Discussion

I have been trying to get through all of the pages here. After some weeks of reading posts, taking notes, logging , and playing with the JB4 to create a good MAP 6 I have made it about have way through. I decided that I should at this point post what I have and go from there.

Looked good so I tweaked it

Looks too hot on third to 4th and up top. Getting multiple corrections toward the end specifically on the last run. I'd lower to 6 request, or use better gas.

OK got it.

I see the corrections just after the shift. Are you referring to the jumps to 4-5? Beyond those it appears, to me, that the ign advances as it should. Or not?

A lot of what I have been gauging the performance on beyond ign was that I was hitting target psi.

I will pull back on the additive up top.

Check IGN2, IGN3, IGN4, IGN5. You have multiple corrections there. Those are your cylinders. Otherwise everything looks pretty good. Advance looks good on IGN1, but could better without those corrections. As the wise George always said, at that RPM 1 degree of timing is more important that 1PSI of boost.

this log does have a rich afr but i have now managed to sort that out with Georges help and setting the fuel bias value to 0


I have notice that the revo stage 2 boosts low compared to other tuners so i think the jb4 might need to do the heavy lifting here .

the car does feel extremely strong. will get it to a dyno and post results soon

Looks good but we get a better picture if you start in 3rd.
With the DSG transmission I thought that I was to start out in 3rd (2500 rpm) then WOT which will kick it down to 2nd and shift on up through the gears. I have 2nd through 4th so third is there. This is how all of my logs have been or maybe I have been recording them wrong?

Looking for a general rule here...
I´m targeting 19 psi at 6k rpm (just an example) but i´m hitting just 17 psi at the log. If I move the target to 20-21 psi will it help me get like 18-19 at the log?
Or is it better to lower the target to the actual boost that i´m able to achieve?
